Our Pre-school
There has been a playgroup in the community centre for many years however, in the summer of 2025 it closed its doors. We have now, with new management, the opportunity to open a completely new pre-school which will start in September 2026.
At Noah’s Ark we understand the importance of your childcare provision and would encourage a visit to our setting, which we will be happy to arrange.
At Noah’s Ark Pre-school we believe that it is important for children to engage in exploratory, sensory, and physical activities to build their confidence, self-esteem, and resilience. Children follow their interests and are supported by qualified practitioners to access all areas of the curriculum through their play.
What we offer
- A stimulating and secure environment.
- A team of early years, safeguarding and first aid trained qualified staff dedicated to caring for your child.
- Varied and enriched play opportunities lead by the children’s interest – which following the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) as our framework which is key to your child’s early years learning.
- Excellent resources, indoors and out, providing varied experiences to help children grow and develop.
- We work in partnership with parents, through various media encouraging parents input into their child’s learning journey.
- Flexibility of sessions to suit your family needs.
- Early Years funding can be used (15 or 30 hours) for all 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds.
Session times
Morning session: 9.00am – 12.00pm (noon)
Afternoon session: 12pm (noon) – 3.00pm
Full day: 9.00am – 3.00pm
We do offer an early drop off from 8.30am – this will incur a charge.
